Help for Heroes improve digital infrastructure through launch of new case management solution, ECLIPSE

Leading Armed Forces Charity, Help for Heroes, has gone live with ECLIPSE Case Management from OLM, in order to improve the digital infrastructure across the charity. The introduction of the cloud-native solution is a milestone moment for the team, as they are now able to enhance the efficiency and outcomes of its services.

Help for Heroes aim is to empower veterans and service personnel to look beyond illness and injury. Help for Heroes began its quest to care for those that have put their lives on the line for our Armed Forces back in 2007. More than ten years later and it has supported more than 22,000 people, receiving international recognition. It is an achievement that should be celebrated but there are still thousands of wounded, injured and sick veterans and service personnel in need of support, and this is why it has chosen, OLM and ECLIPSE.

The new case management system, ECLIPSE, accommodates shared working on the same system, enabling staff at Help for Heroes to work more efficiently. With thousands of veterans requiring support every year, the introduction of ECLIPSE is a welcome boost. It works on any device, at anytime, from anywhere, enabling staff members to record directly, reducing administration and enabling them to concentrate on providing the best care possible for veterans. Using the ECLIPSE system it is able to plan and help veterans and service personnel reach their potential, regain their purpose and have a positive impact on society.

Tim Bird, Chief Information Officer, Help for Heroes said, “We strive to provide the best care possible to wounded veterans, and their families. In order to do this as efficiently as possible, we recognised the need to update our supporting digital solutions. Implementing ECLIPSE and working with OLM enables us to continue to care for those that have been affected by their Service.”

Peter O’Hara, CEO and founder of OLM, said, “We are proud to be working with Help for Heroes as it is truly the definition of a charity that gives back to those that have given so much. They care for thousands each year, and with our help will be able to care for many more.”
